Sensei Calley Esqulant

Sensei Calley Esqulant joined the club in 2014, bringing with her an existing martial arts background. She had previously trained in kickboxing for three years, achieving the rank of purple belt, before moving on to study Wing Chun. When she joined the club, Calley quickly adapted to the Force techniques, progressing with dedication through all the levels to achieve her 1st Dan Black Belt.

During her journey, Calley served as a training instructor before being promoted to Assistant Instructor at Brown Belt. Just six months after earning her Black Belt, she successfully completed her exams to qualify as a CMAA Level 1 Instructor. Her commitment and ability were further recognised with the award of her 2nd Dan, and she is now training towards her 3rd Dan.

Calley is a qualified First Aider and has completed additional specialist training in areas including:

  • Shock Knife training

  • Hostile environment training

  • Specialist unarmed combat training

  • Advanced defence against weapons

Alongside her personal development, Calley plays a key role in overseeing the continuous professional development of other instructors and students, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the club. She continues her own training under the guidance of the club’s founder and former Chief Instructor, Master Stuart Lowe 5th Dan FMA .

Today, Calley runs her own club in Rainham and also contributes as a Senior Instructor at both the Burham and Kings Hill clubs, passing on her skills, knowledge, and passion for martial arts to the next generation.
